Why do newcomers have more expensive entry fees?

The better question is, why do licensed ones have it cheaper? This is because licensed competitors have to pay a license each year and often club membership. Therefore, we reduce their entry fee as a token of appreciation for their confidence in the official structure of the sport. Their sports membership helps in development :-)

How long will the race tracks be?

Due to the beginning of the season, we decided to keep a shorter track for both days, namely 3.8 km

Do Inbound and Licensed Start Together?

Yes, we will start both days in interval starts, licensed in each category as a priority, and incoming competitors immediately behind them without a time delay.

Will the arrivals be announced separately?

Due to the number of open categories, we have decided not to announce incoming and licensed separately. In practice, it will look like announcing the three fastest competitors in a given category, regardless of the license.

5

Is it necessary to start both days?

Yes, if you miss the second start, your result will not be counted. If you miss the first day of the race, the organizer will not let you start on the second day.

6

Can I compete in more categories?

Yes, a maximum of two categories or have two starts in one category. You have to start with a different dog for each start.

7

Are you planning a mass start?

No, local conditions do not allow us to organize a mass start that would meet the requirements of the race rules. The starts will be interval and the next day gundersen.

8

Why aren't categories divided by dog weight?

Because our race is largely governed by the ČASS racing and competition rules and the weight of the dog does not solve it.

9

Why didn't you open the category for beginners

There are really many races for beginners in the season and we primarily strive to organize races for already experienced racers. The race for beginners requires an extra track and additional helpers who will take care of the inexperienced. We decided not to combine our race with beginners and focus on improving the conditions for already experienced competitors.
